1. What is an Art Thingy?
Art Thingys are unique, fun and funky 3D art pieces perfect for your cabin, castle or crib. Each piece is designed and custom crafted in my studio according to your color and design preferences. I'm currently offering wall art and shelf art with many more categories in the works - including mirrors, clocks and mobiles. I'm located in lovely Norfolk, Massachusetts.
2. How are they made?
Art Thingys are lovingly "make-u-factured" by both hand and machine. I use a laser to cut the pieces, followed by hand sanding and surface preparation. Next, I use a special ink-jet process to print the full-color artwork. Finally, I hand assemble all the parts, sign the back and ready the piece for shipping.
3. What materials do you use?
Art Thingys are carefully crafted using sustainably harvested baltic birch plywood and non-toxic water-based inks. I don't use glue or any type of chemical coatings. The inks are transparent so the subtle wood grain shows through creating a warm and natural appearance.
4. What’s your shipping policy?
Please allow 5 business days for your Art Thingys order to be completed after checkout and confirmation.
Domestic (US) orders are shipped using USPS Priority Mail. Delivery time is usually 3-5 business days from the time your package leaves the studio.
International Orders are shipped using USPS Priority Mail International.
Shipping costs are based on total weight and destination. Shipping will be calculated during checkout.
5. Can I put my Art Thingy outside?
It's not recommended as water or moisture may damage the untreated, natural wood.
6. How should I clean my Art Thingy?
A dry cloth or dust vacuum will work great. Avoid using any type of liquid cleaning solution.
7. How do I attach my Art Thingy to the wall?
All it takes is a simple nail that is provided with your order. A keyhole is conveniently cut into the back of each piece of wall art.
8. How do I return or exchange a purchased item?
If you’re not loving your Art Thingy we’ll take it back. You may return any piece - in good condition - for a replacement or refund within 30 days of receipt. Please contact Customer Support to receive further instructions.
9. Do you do custom orders?
It's a possibility depending on what you're looking for - please contact me for further discussion.
10. Do you sell wholesale?
Yes - please fill out this form - including your Tax ID number - and submit.
11. What’s your privacy policy?
We do not rent, sell or distribute our customer base or newsletter e-mail list to anyone. Your privacy is important to us and is completely guaranteed. When you give us your e-mail, address or phone number during the ordering process they are used for order confirmation purposes only.
